About those biological weapons in Ukraine... Here's a document you need to read.

In 2005, the George W. Bush administration signed an agreement with Ukraine regarding biological weapons:
* Ukraine must move all of their Soviet-era biological weapons to a few central laboratories in Ukraine.
* The US will fund this operation.
* Ukraine will dedicate itself to prevent the proliferation of bioweapon-technology. (Makes sense, because the GWB-administration worried about terrorists getting their hands on these.)
* Ukraine and US will jointly engage in research how to defend against bioweapons.
* Either side has the right to declare research "confidential" and the other side must abide by that.

This was in 2005, signed by the administration of pro-western ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko. However, the program was continued by the pro-russian President Viktor Yanukovych.




1. The Ukrainians gave orders to destroy these laboratories to keep them out of russian hands because they are contractually obligated to keep this bioweapon-technology out of ANYBODY'S hands.

2. The Pentagon made this agreement, instead of a US health agency, because it was part of the broader "War on Terror" of the GWB-administration.

3. The onus isn't on the Russians to prove that there was bioweapons-research conducted in Ukraine. We already know that there was defensive research. The Russians must prove that the bioweapons-research was for OFFENSIVE purposes.

That hasn't changed for 100 years--well, okay, before 1940 you weren't a "fascist" you were a "capitalist" or "bourgeois." In the '20s and '30s the USSR had scientific, educational, economic, and cultural exchanges with Germany, Nazi or otherwise.
