So I assume he know there is no mechanism to do any of the things he said he wants Roberts to do.

Nobody has the power to tell a Supreme that they can't give an opinion on a case and there is no way to remove them short of a full impeachment and conviction, which is total fantasy.

would probably make it fail, but then repugs running for reelection would have to explain on the campaign trail
why they're against a code of ethics, be as bad as trying to tell your mom why you don't like her apple pie.
