Was it just a stopover for another destination?
Was he on a mission of some sort? Was he delivering a message?
As we know, Paul Manafort, convicted and pardoned criminal from the Trump years, was stopped from flying out of Miami because of his lack of a legitimate passport.
Was he attempting to get back to Russia to help his buddy, Vladimir Putin, with his war in Ukraine?
It's a puzzle? And I have heard no one put the pieces together.

(30,710 posts)Whom was he meeting with there? And why?Plus he was supposedly so sick and fever he couldnt even stay in prison. Now hes jetting off to Dubai. You can bet its not for some patriotic American reason

I have to believe that Russia and Putin were somehow involved. How? We do not yet know.
Perhaps Putin is getting ready for the government of Ukraine to fall and he needs the help of a "political strategist" like Manafort to install another Russian puppet, as he did once before?

(110,950 posts)...that could incriminate Manafort, along with Putin and Trump and other international criminals. There may be proof of their collusion to steal the elections of 2016 and 2020?
And we have just not heard about it?
Who knows?

Something must have tripped a flight risk alert to have it revoked.

(110,950 posts)I think it is safe to say that if Putin loses, Trump loses. Manafort could be working for either, or both?

(54,051 posts)It was no coincidence that at the end of his administration, Cheney oversaw the moving of his company, Halliburton, to Dubai. He also has a house in the island of Kish, the Iranian version of Hong Kong, and Kish is a brief Cessna flight from Dubai. I have been told that the name on the ownership documents has been changed from Cheney to Halliburton. If Manafort were to spend a few pampered months or years on Kish, out of Washingtons reach, Im sure that wouldnt break any Republican hearts.

I would love to visit just to see what they have done, but there are a few videos on YouTube discussing the crappy planning they actually did, and how the areas with the skyscrapers are sort of sterile on the street level, unlike New York, for instance, which has vibrant sidewalk-level businesses.
Granted, the title of this video is obviously biased, but he does make some interesting points.
