As said by a response on twitter:

"I don’t know of this is a war crime but it’s clearly an ecocide"

The radiation effects may be the more glaringly obvious human cost (and yes war crime) but GOD DAMN IT we can't keep destroying forests. Bad enough when it is done intentionally for capitalism (very, very, bad) but the ecological tragedy should not be buried under the other horrors of war.
