Give me a frickin' break

I finally watched the video where Biden called on God and said of Putin "For God's sake this man can not remain in power".

What the hell is the big deal? And why is everyone leaving out the whole quote? Off handily hoping to God that someone doesn't remain in power doesn't mean you want them dead, just that they shouldn't remain in power.

Do republicans want Putin to remain in power?

I know Lindsey Graham recently called for what sounded like an assassination.

undoubtedly agre, but do not wat the quote to be mistaken for a cal to assiassinate (or even depose) - because Putin might take that as an excuse to nuke us.

And it's far from impossible.

Republicans, of courseprobably want us to get nuked andthing they are invulnerable. Sigh.

Trump will get the vaccines sooner than Biden. He even creates a "warp speed" group of vaccine producers to get it to the market pronto. Beautiful vaccines. Biden will take 5 years.

Biden wins and a vaccine is finally approved (the same vaccine that would have been approved if Trump were in power) gets vaccine rollout going and breaks his own goals of how many get their first vaccination in 3 months. Now vaccines are bad, a Democratic plot. No matter if Trump gets the vaccine himself and tells followers to. No matter if Fox News staff all must be vaccinated to work there.

They know they can milk the negative aspect of conflicting opinions. Even if they cancel each other out. That's how frighteningly the MAGAts have been brainwashed.

....

Trump gets pillared by McConnell for Jan 6th right after.

Trump gets McConnells nod as his next vote for President months later.

.....

Cancel culture is a liberal assault on our freedoms

Other than Dixie Chicks, Last Temptation of Christ, Rap music, teaching the history of slavery in their country, Gay marriage, LGBTQ access to washrooms, mail in voting, CNN, MSNBC, etc etc etc

.......

Now its a scramble to distance themselves from their leaders admiration of Putin after enough days of bombing in Ukraine, by trying to top Democrats in how vicious they, and Trump too, would be if they were in the WH.

But if Biden dares to even suggest Putin should not be allowed to be the representative of Russia in future, it is a bridge too far.

The GOP knows they have stupidity on their side. They love the poorly educated. They milk it for all its worth by taking leaps of logic to be able to be on the wrong side of issues, and then also paint Democrats as actually being the ones who......were wrong before they were wrong......aren't right enough....and if that doesn't work go back to the good old "but but but...Obama, Clinton, Biden....did something else wrong x years ago...so that excuses us today" And what sucks is that you can't argue and win with a stupid, and/or brainwashed person like their supporters, and they know it.

It was not a "gaffe," as various talking heads have claimed. He didn't call for his assassination like Lindsey Graham did, or suggest that the US or NATO was going to engage in regime change. After having called Putin a butcher, how could he say anything else? Of course a butcher shouldn't remain in power, FFS! In the context of the speech, seems like he was talking to the Russians. In any event, it's what everyone is thinking.

the MSM is owned and managed by the right, funded by American oligarchs.

President Biden was absolutely right in what he said but the MSM has made it into a faux pas, it is the lead story on cable.

The American oligarchs can get nonsensical bullshit covered on cable 24/7, such as the bio-labs in Ukraine.

The importance of controlling the narrative is totally overlooked, propaganda works.

I am down to watching 2 people, Chris Hayes and Nicolle, and I am pissed for Rachel axing Keith Olbermann. No one on cable news is worth watching, they are all pump handles.

the fact that there are so many men and women ready to give their principles to obey the orders of their employers when they have to know they are being asked to lie, they are being asked to preach nonsense that goes against everything the USA has stood for in history, that they are willing to help a regime which will eventually be the cause of misery for their families, their kids and future generations, and the lack of courage from so many people.

People with courage would never put up with a buffoon like trump, or any of the other republicans, people with courage are usually intelligent people who can see the fake of all those republican politicians.

To me, that is the worst, the very sad reality.

But no this fool is a GOPer so no outrage.

The slip of the tongue that was purposely ignored by our corporate media in the most mind-blowing way was when the president of the United States said he and his daughter had sex in common. Yeah, TFG said that and the media barely batted an eye.

The corporate media got more upset about Biden not wanting Putin to remain in power then when the US president said he was incestuous with his daughter. Go figure.

I'm not speaking of individual Russian citizens, although they may be meant to hear it as well. I mean there are, among the remaining members of Russia's government, military, and ruling class, those who have the possibility of removing him or blunting his control. These are people who fear that Putin has put Russia into a financial and political nose-dive and exposed the lie of Russian conventional military power. These are people who are worried about how their privileged life will be under Putin and his cronies after the Ukrainian Misadventure ends, assuming it does end at all.
