A growing number of Democrats are calling on Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from 2020 election-related cases, after text messages revealed his wife, Ginni Thomas, supported overturning the results.

28 USC 455: "Any justice, judge or magistrate of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceedings which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned." It's no longer 'might' but rather Justice Thomas' impartiality 'is' being questioned. Thomas must recuse himself.

What happened to that quaint notion of honour and protection of the public perception integrity of the institution that forced a certain honourable Senator from Minnesota to resign to preserve the overall honour of another institution…not hat it mattered subsequently.
