I think his reaction was more about him. His masculinity was threatened because of the joke. BlackSkimmer Mar 2022 #12

And not someone closer to Will's own size, like say Michael B. Jordan. Of course Smith probably would have shown some restraint if it was someone who could fight back.

Smith just put the Streisand effect on blast with that.

It's everywhere this morning. I knew a little bit about that mess from cultural osmosis, but not with the granular detail I now do today.

So, well done there.

Will Smith tracks down everyone that says something bad on Social Media and slaps them in public while repeatedly saying “keep my wife’s name out your mouth”. Cartman is a huge fan of the Pursuit of Happiness and wants to meet Will Smith so he tweets out some horrid insult at Jada. While they’re in town, Jada meets Kyle and tries to hook up with him. Chaos ensues.

...if the Smith's had held a press conference this morning, detailing Ms. Smith's medical condition and calling out Rock for his piss-poor attempt at a joke. I hope Will Smith cherishes that newly-acquired Oscar of his---and I hope he never gets a chance at another one. Giving aid and comfort to the nation's racists ought to carry a significant price.

Women do. Already people are debating whether the slap was justified, did Chris Rock know about her condition, did she goad Smith into doing it

ugh

We'll probably never know. But at the end of the day it was a dick move by Smith. He thrust her condition into the media spotlight when it's up to her to choose the venue for that conversation. (I didn't know about it - I see a beautiful rich woman with no hair I figure it's a fashion statement.)
