Everyone who is not a traitor would agree.
Putin is almost as bad, and doing many of the same things.
The Russians, Republicans, and Republican supporting media crybabies can all go to hell.
Putin is a bloodthirsty monster and should be removed by any means necessary.
Just say it, and facilitate it any/every way possible.
Push Vladimir's buttons with a sledgehammer.
Call it the Navalney Project.

Everyone of them voted to let Donald Trump off the hook about blackmailing Zelenskyy and Ukraine
to rat fuck our elections by withholding military aid. They put party over our country and standing up
to Vlad Putin. Only Romney voted to hold Trump accountable.
Mitch McConnell after blocking the American people and members of Congress from seeing
the evidence of Trump's trying to blackmail Zelenskyy by blocking military aid to the Ukraine.

What is the point of calling for regime change? US forces aren't going to invade Moscow, and Putin's Praetorian Guard understand their options and the stakes. Moreover, if Putin uses a nuclear weapon, or other WMD, it won't be here in the US, it will be in Ukraine. Possibly in Kyiv. Do we want to risk all those Ukrainian lives for the sake of a little heated rhetoric that has no practical effect?

(2,486 posts)Sure, he could attack the US, if he wants nuclear Armageddon. All the more reason not to provoke him.
Numerous analysts, people with actual expertise (Anatol Lieven, Andrew Bacevich, Gen. Petraeus), have opined that if Putin goes nuclear it would likely start with a tactical strike in Ukraine. Ukraine is where the fighting is, and thus where he might see a military advantage to use tactical nukes without triggering NATO's collective response.
As for Putin's state of mind, you don't know what it is any more than I do. Therefore we should not needlessly provoke him with useless rhetoric.
The reason I mentioned the loss of life in Ukraine is that the OP includes photos of Ukrainians suffering from Putin's invasion. My point is that these photos show exactly why we do not want to needlessly provoke Putin. Imagine how much more they'd be suffering if Putin dropped a nuclear bomb on Maidan Square.

(14,153 posts)He didn't say that the USA was going to bring about regime change in Russia. Of course Fox News interpreted it that way.
He just said Putin "cannot remain in power" due to the invasion of Ukraine. He didn't say he wouldn't remain anyways. I certainly didn't take it as the US was going to invade Russia and swarm the capital and hang Putin in the square.
I took it as Putin cannot remain in power....and Russia still enjoy all the benefits of being a part of the world community. He cannot remain in power... if Russian industry wants to trade again on the world market.
