"'I'm not walking anything back': Biden says he doesn't regret saying Putin has to go":

President Joe Biden said on Monday he doesn't regret saying Russian President Vladimir Putin shouldn't remain in power -- but he emphasized that his words did not signal a policy change.

The Biden administration sought to walk back the president's statement over the weekend when he said, "For God's sake, [Putin] cannot remain in power," as they feared it would lead Putin to conclude the United States' goal was now to enact regime change in Russia.

"I'm not walking anything back," Biden said. "The fact of the matter is, I was expressing moral outrage I felt toward the way Putin is dealing... the actions of this man, just brutality. Half the children of Ukraine, I had just come from being with those families."Text

"But I want to make it clear, I wasn't then, nor am I now, articulating a policy change," he said. "I was expressing moral outrage I feel and I make no apologies."

Joe has nothing to apologize for in his statement.

Just wish everyone in the media would stop having a hissy over it. Joe made the case.

To say that Putin needs to go is not a gaffe. He's a war criminal and we can't accept war criminals like that in our community of nations. In fact, I would say the only way Russia gets back into the community of nations is by giving up their nukes.

Putin is a high level terrorist and a war criminal. I don't care
how he "goes" as long as he's gone. The sooner the better.

Unlike our multiple forms of media who auto- default to advertising to the world their opinion of what Biden REALLY meant.
They have no clue what being true to their own word is. The ONLY thing they are beholden to is $$$$ & celebrity.

He made a great speech n the media doesn’t know what to do with it except this relentless bs about one ad lib wish we all have said many times. While they beat this dead horse issue to pulp, Putin n tfg are delighted .
