The LAST story tonight on NBC Nightly News...

That a court held that Trump "more likely than not…” violated the law and “corruptly attempted to obstruct" Congress in his attempts (plural) to overturn the 2020 election.

It should have been the 1st or 2nd story.

I wish we had a vigorous media….

Wasn't any better last night as they didn't even mention the judges remarks while giving 30 seconds to the fact Eastman had to turn over the documents. MSM doesn't report the news anymore, they only give out sound bites and both-siderisms along with the occasional feel good spot. The days of getting a fair unbiased report on the days is long gone, everyone has an agenda today.

what is remembered is the first, the last, and what is most easily forgotten is what is in the middle.

If you let it simmer long enough at low heat, eventually it will evaporate to a sludge at the bottom of the pan. Then you can just toss it out.

People tend to remember the last thing they heard, and MSNBC uses that to sneak in something that will have some impact after the audience thinks about it for a minute or two.

I'm OK with this. It's not a throwaway item, they'll let this story brew.

Definitely! The easiest takeaway is always the last one, because it's the freshest in the memory.

But it would be better to have led with it or presented high up in the newscast, and THEN repeat it at the end as a kind of "second helping"!

On the media. He shows how every story told is based on min by min ratings and also decided in meetings.

Not one big media company would talk to him, they didn't want to expose what they do.
