Did you expect anything less considering where he lives? Hard to have principles in those circumstances.

Yes, the US government employs me to post on DU. It's a new Joe Biden initiative.

Gee, nobody thought the GOP were authoritarians before Snowden came along.

And, I don't know where you grew up, but I grew up in the US, in which we pretty much knew when we were kids that if you use a communication system that is run by someone else, then it means someone else can probably listen to it.

The government pays us tools lots and lots of money to say nice things about Democrats and be mean to Snowden. Obviously. There's no pulling the wool over some people's eyes, they are too smart!

He loved Ron Paul and hated Social Security.

Now, the disgruntled one is living in a country which does everything he is supposedly against.

At the beginning of the Ukraine-War, Wikileaks posted on Twitter about how Russia is expanding its wiretapping-network to Ukraine... the network which Wikileaks boasted about uncovering.
Actually, I read an article on this back when Wikileaks revealed this program: Turns out that most of this was already known to other intelligence-agencies and Wikileaks just filled in a few details.

Nowadays?

Not a single peep from Wikileaks about Russia's censorship and how yet another independent russian newspaper had to shut down amid threat of prison-sentences.

What is Wikileaks twittering about instead?

Julian Assange's wedding.

Isn't Wikileaks supposed to fight for freedom of the press and radical transparency? Aren't they supposed to fight for holding powerful people responsible?

Maybe Wikileaks is regretting that they moved some of their servers to a web-host in Moscow to escape US jurisdiction...
