(10,818 posts)They're click-bait, spam, and they steal from other sources without credit.

I agree with your assessment. Sure would like to know who is running that operation.
AZSkiffyGeek
(10,818 posts)Of course, it could be some grifter on the right running it as well...

(13,564 posts)Now, who would start a fuss like this?????
It's going to be a mess.
Someone is deliberately throwing this lie into the conversation.

(2,235 posts)They shout like a tabloid, their info is often questionable and it always ends with them asking for a retweet.
I have no idea what the end game with that account is, but its best ignored.
And if someone shares their stuff on twitter, I second guess following them myself too. Their judgment is off.

(58,785 posts)operates under very tight secrecy and is effectively leakproof, and if Garland himself made one of his almost nonexistent statements it'd be big news. Even if it didn't say this.

(7,802 posts)It's been a while, so be kind: the Bartlet administration wanted to appoint a certain person to a new board, but it was unlikely that he would accept the position. If he did, great! But if he didn't, he would tell the world why and it would be bad news.
So, the White House just announced that the person had accepted the post and they made a big hoop-lah about it. So the person was pressured into taking it.
All I can say is that if I can't have President Bartlet, I'll happily have President Santos.

(13,469 posts)Best case scenario: Theyre grifters trying to monetize that account.
Worst case scenario: theyre purposefully spreading misinformation to divide people.
Stop following them.

(10,818 posts)There are a lot of left-type accounts like this that are just trying to make money off retweets. But I think there are pundits who are (or at least were) respected doing similar.

(13,469 posts)Reads like it was created by the Krassenstein brothers. Its odd beyond belief. I hid Occupy Democrats a long time ago. I dont even get what their point is.
They spread a lot of bizarre unsourced rumors.
