TWC Manokin River Maryland just hit flood level...and they expect at least 24 more hours of rain

I was watching weather on TWC's website and they just announced that the Manokin River in Maryland had hit flood stages and Sandy will be hitting them with the heaviest rain for the next 24 hours.

Sandy is over 900 miles across at this point.

Maybe Washington, D.C. will wake up to global warming now?

I don't see anything above to indicate flood levels yet. The St. Mary's river is at the 90th percentile and it's not near flood level yet:

Here is another map and it shows one river near flood stage but most rivers doing fine: http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=akq
