Breaking on CNN... Ohio is now tied!!!

Here are the last 6 polls out of Ohio.

Time Magazine-Obama+5

Public Policy Polling-Obama+4
CNN-Obama +4.................................................... (Poll margin of error 3.5)

ARG-Obama+2

Purple Strategies –Obama+2

Gravis Marketing-Obama+1

All of these polls were completed AFTER the 49-49 Ohio poll which was released today but completed last week prior to the 3rd debate. Although that didn't stop "Meet The Press" from treating it like it was breaking news this morning.

Yup, it looks like a tie to me. Clearly Romney has momentum!

The image above is downright laughable!

Yes... Ohio is definitely tied. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

If they're using the margin of error when quoting a poll, they could have easily said Obama is up 7+

Of course they would never say that because they're thoroughly committed to pumping up Romney as much as they can.

The media has become a joke.

April 9th 2002. CNN was the reason. It was the day the Saddam statue came down. CNN showed it as a big crowd of Iraqi's. (camera angles) BUT on BBC News they showed the real crowd! (about 30 people) by showing the scene from a distance. (our tanks not iraqi's pulled down the statue)
Now we have had the incident of Tweetie and Big Ed flipping the fuck out over the first debate, turning it into the Dean Scream or Gore sighs. (OUR SIDE did that to our President)

Rachel is great but you can see her on you tube.

TURN OFF THAT SHIT people. You will be happier and they may lose their jobs if enough people turn them off. The news media as well as the Republican party are TRAITORS to America!

The chyron says the poll is within the margin of error. But that is not true. The spread was 4. The margin of error in the polls was 3.5%.

What a joke!

In other words, the chance that all six polls are wrong in giving Obama the lead is quite small, probably less than 10%.

27. Nate had the foresight to apply statistics to multiple polls taken at the same time...
Sun Oct 28, 2012, 07:49 PM

..and what happens is that the overall error for each poll (lets say +/- 3.5 points) gets reduced the more polls you have and you combine them. With six polls, the 3.5 point margin of error for each poll drops to just 1.5 points when taken together. And so even if you can't get statistically significant information out of any one poll, if they all agree with each other, you may be able to get statistically significant information out of all the polls taken together.

And that's what the righties (and the horse-race obsessed msm) can't stand!

it is easier to see why MSM call a 4 - 5 points difference a tie, it is the mental preparation to explain the steal considering a candidate need a 10 points spread protection.

it is a close race and sending the message to Ohio voters that it is important to get out and make sure their vote counts works in our favor.

If they were reporting that Obama was going to win Ohio then some people might not be as motivated to get to the polls.

At this point I don't really care about the spin as long as they report the polling numbers accurately. People can either figure it out for themselves of buy into the meme. That is up to them.
