(54,372 posts)We had two Republicans from Texas named Bush that turned out not-so-okay (Daddy) and awful (junior).
So now two Democrats named Bus(c)h in Congress from Missouri would be a welcome counterbalance for history to add to its many footnotes.

(29,674 posts)Not because a Busch entered it but because someone is blowing up Facebook with several allegations against other Dems running for this seat and in congressional races.
The allegations are bad-really bad.

(5,942 posts)Trudy can afford to do some polling before making this decision and I am sure she did. Her family knows a little bit about marketing. She would not be throwing her hat in the ring unless she knew there is a good chance she will win.
I am not jumping up and down happy to have a Busch in the Senate, but it damn sure beats a Greitens.
