(i.e. provide materiel, and let Ukraine defend its own borders).

Ukraine is immensely valuable to European defense. It is just common sense and a good investment to help them help themselves.

Putin and his regime cannot be trusted. They'll simply return to the scene of the crime and start anew. Once the dust has settled.

If Ukraine is valued as a western ally and buffer, NATO membership or not, then I do not understand not affording them some security assurances so we're less likely to get a repeat performance or even a more aggressive push into Europe.

Putin will lick his chops with this announcement.

Where is the United Nations? Did they shut down or something?

Bullying works. Nuke possession works. Indecency works. Lying works. Greed works.

So who is to stop it. We have our own criminal families: Trumps, GOP Senators, GOP Representatives, SCOTUS...and no one is coming to save us because if they do we will just ignore them.
