(1,915 posts)I'd lean more towards the Ukrainians. Visible anti tank mines are perfect setups for ambushes. Tanks and heavy vehicles would be forced to stop. Any EOD tech would be vulnerable to a sniper. Blowing them up in place would damage the road. Either way, it stops armor from moving, which opens them up to attack.
