I've had a bypass so I'm really leery about catching this thing.

I've thought about it just to get the benefits of both versions.

Also interested in mixing to get best of both. Like a mutt dog?

Had a choice at Rite Aid.

I am wondering if I can get moderna this time or if I am locked into pfizer. I had a worse reaction last time so I am a bit worried though anyway and moderna is a larger dose. . But I don’t want to wait until they may run out due to funding either.

I heard a doc on TV say it was OK to change Moderna/Pfizer for the booster.

But, hey... it was just a doc on TV. Your feedback would carry more weight.

he said he knows people who have mixed and matched all the vaccines after the initial doses and he sees no problem with it and thinks it may increase protection against variants which may not be as protected against by whatever you have already received.

He also said the moderna dose for the booster is lower than for their first 2 doses so it would be less likely to have a strong reaction. So I may try to get moderna this time.

We got our pfizer dose 3 at cvs and when I made the appointments there did not seem to be a way to select a different vaccine though and you had to bring your vaccine card there to get the booster. I am going to find out if I can get moderna at that office maybe.
