OVER 50 funding emails in less than 48 hours

Marta has had a like number. I understand candidates want to raise their bottom lines. The end of the quarter reporting period is tonight at midnight. And email is way cheaper than the USPS. I do try to read through as many as I can. It isn't easy.

I assume many DUers are going through this too. What I'm wondering is how successful the bulk emails are in getting a donation with so many to choose from???

it's all spam. If people could donate, they would. No need to fill up people's email accounts. I unsubcribe and let them know they're asking too much to often. But that's me.

I choose which campaigns/organizations I donate to based on information I read or hear, not from a begging email…ever.

Once you give to any campaign the email address gets passed around to everybody. I'm getting them from all over the country. No way can I vote for any of them.

I certainly don't read many of them. I just go down the gmail list and tick the box on the left and delete 10 to 20 at a time.

As soon as election season is over I'm going to unsubscribe to more than I already have.

…or tells me Joe is Desperate!!! or tells me that Hekate is the last person in town I don’t live in anymore holding out money and we’re gonna LOSE!

I hate them all by now. Next thing they are going to tell me I make Baby Jesus cry.

— the appeals to naked emotion, the heavy-handed attempts to guilt the recipient, and the spamming. Ick.

"His campaign is like a get-rich-quick scheme gone bad!"

Donald, I'll send you $1,000.

You get the 700% match, making it $8,000 total. You send me back $3,000 and keep the $5,000. I will verify that you improved my economy and you get $5,000 that you did not have before.

Win/win for both of us.

I'm not greedy.

You get more than half.
