Don't a lot of places now have rest rooms with more than one urinal/stall that all genders can use?

I used to go to a lot of concerts. Men's rooms would be packed, and maybe 10% of the people in there were women because a huge line was snaking out of the women's room. Sometimes they had their children with them...both boys and girls. It kind of seemed completely normal. Nobody seemed to think twice about it. It was not an issue at all. I mean if you think about it, you don't see any private body parts while using a public restroom. Are they afraid their children are going to be abused in there? Then just go to the bathroom with your child...

I really cannot understand the things these people invent uproars over.

with strange males. think of a college restroom at night, etc. the safe space aspect of single gender restrooms are that women can expect that there isn't a male in there.

…single person restrooms are fine, but I am against the idea of gender neutral multi stalled bathrooms. Not for sex or pervert reasons. I think most people don’t want to poop around the opposite sex.

Thinking way back to highschool, I would have rather dropped dead than go into a bathroom stall and take a huge dump with a chance girls I liked would be walking in being able to hear and smell it all. The feeling would have been mutual. While everyone does it, we want to pretend it isn’t happening outside of those we live with in our homes.

But I wouldn't poop in a public restroom anyway unless it was one of those situations where I was going to explode, and if that were the situation, I'd poop in front of The Pope while singing the national anthem.

I may truthfully have an issue in the other situation though. As I have gotten older, my prostate has enlarged slightly, as happens with a lot of men as they age, and sometimes it takes me a full two minutes to get a stream started, so that plays with my head if anyone else is around, because I have to stand at the urinal like an idiot without doing anything for a few moments.

I'm not sure if that situation would be worse around women or not, but I suspect it might be.

I hate public restrooms anyway. Gender neutral or not. Two stories:

1)1997. Driving to a concert by myself. Had to pee. Rest stop was completely deserted, except for some guy who appeared to be in his 60's (I was in my late 30's at the time). He was sitting on top of a picnic table that was just outside of the restroom building. I walked into the restroom, and there was a big line of empty urinals. I took the one on the far end and started doing my business. The guy on the picnic table immediately followed me inside, took the urinal right next to me, unzipped, and stood there with his head turned, just staring at me. I stopped what I was doing, zipped up, and got the hell out of there.

So now I'm sitting in my pickup, getting ready to leave. Now, as soon as I left the restroom, the older guy followed me out and went back to sitting at the picnic table. Just then, a car with a family in it pulled up, and two young boys came racing out of the car into the restroom. That bastard sitting on the table immediately went back into the rest room! I ran up to the car where the mother and father were sitting, and told the dad "Go get your kids right now. That guy is a perv". The father went into the restroom immediately, the perv came running out and got in his car. The father came out with his children, and I saw him get on his cell phone, presumably calling the police (back in those days, mobile phones were primitive and about the size of small bricks).

2) Huge anniversary party (about 200 people) for a relative being held at a big hall. Go in the men's room to use a urinal. Guy comes in after me, and did not follow proper urinal etiquette (No talking, look straight ahead when peeing, always leave an empty urinal between you and the other guy). He took the urinal right next to me, and I'm sensing something in my peripheral vision. I turned and looked at the guy, and he's blatantly looking at my junk. So I blatantly looked down at his and said sarcastically "Nice dick, Rubberneck". He got embarrassed, zipped up, and scooted on out of there.

When I go into a public bathroom, I do a quick assessment of whether or not I plan on using the urinal or peeing in the stall based on number of people and other battle conditions.
