Woman who claimed to be cousin of boy who fell to his death at Orlando theme park ...

The death of Tyre Sampson, the 14-year-old boy who fell to his death on the “Free Fall” ride at Orlando’s ICON Park, has dominated headlines across the past week and rightfully so. It was tragic and there are questions that need answered about just how a young man lost his life on what should have simply been a fun night out with friends. But, according to reports from Florida, there is an odd and concerning side story developing around Sampson’s death. And that story centers around the woman who has identified herself as Shay Johnson, and has claimed to be a cousin of Sampson, saying she talked to him before he boarded that ride on that night.

Per reports, Johnson did multiple media interviews, spoke at a prayer vigil and took part in a Tuesday protest at ICON Park “in support of a petition to get the ride demolished.” The issue with all of that is, according to multiple reports, Sampson’s mother has informed Orange County detectives that she does not know who the woman is. In fact, the family’s attorneys have reportedly said that “none of his family members know Johnson.”

According to the Sun-Sentinel, detectives said they followed up by “looking into” Johnson, but noted that there was “no evidence of a crime” and that an arrest was not pending.

According to WFTV.com, at least one group did know Johnson, though. And, the site reported, that was her employer, Flash Dancer’s Bar, in Orlando.
And, the site said, Flash Dancer’s said they are now, officially, her former employer.

Tyre Sampson's Alleged Cousin Uses Tragedy To Collect Money

While we at ‘The DigiSpot’ are sorry that 14-year-old Tyre Sampson died after falling from the Orlando FreeFall drop tower ride, and for what the family has to deal with as a result, what came afterwards was nothing less than shocking. When reporters from WKMG-TV News 6 (CBS) came to the scene to do what they do, Sampson's alleged cousin "Shay Johnson" went out of her way to jump in front of the camera to put her words in about the tragedy.

"Shay Johnson" is not who she said she was in the following ways:

She is not Sampson's cousin
"Shay Johnson" is not her name

According to a Facebook user, "Shay Johnson's" real name is Lewishena Browning.

The user has also mentioned that Browning has been using the death of the teenaged boy to collect donations via GoFundMe. Browning's page would be one of many fake pages that would pop up after this tragedy went down. Many of those fake pages have since been shut down even though there's no official word on if Browning's page, in particular, was shut down.

She was running a GoFundMe scam to make money off the boy's death.
And she is no longer employed at her previous job.
