The crew would probably need medical attention, that was going to be a hard landing.

You can hear the engine throughout the crash landing. Losing the tail boom would cause the helicopter to spin and affect trim, but so long as the pilot maintains his composure, he should retain enough authority and power to make a controlled crash.... so yeah... good work by the pilot there to not panic. It did look like a high sink rate, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were injured. No doubt the rotor blades disintegrated on impact.
