BREAKING — Turkish prosecutor asked court to stop proceedings against the killers of Saudi Journalist Khashoggi, said the dossier should be transferred to Saudi Arabia judicial authorities: Media reports

Turkish court asked Turkish Justice Ministry to share its opinion on this demand, whether it is possible to pass the dossier to Saudi Arabia

Obvious that Turkey is making a legal move to satisfy a key Saudi demand for reconciliation: Khashoggi case should disappear

NEW: Khashoggi’s fiancée Hatice Cengiz says the prosecutor’s move is “despicable”, “Everyone knows Khashoggi's murderers yet no one does anything about it”

• Cengiz’s lawyer said they will take the case to appeal if court decides to stop proceedings

Meanwhile as the news broke out, Turkish Foreign Minister said that “important steps were being taken" to repair ties with Riyadh

“"We are increasing our engagements with regard to judicial cooperation," Cavusoglu said
