4. I like the trend, but it is within the margin of error. He has some serious ground to make up.

I sure hope Beto can do it. It would enormously improve ALL Texans' lives.

the TV screen, the radio and billboards with pro-Beto etc messaging?

We know that big money from oil, paper and Putin contribute to the conservative politicians. I want big money from other places, like the motion picture industry, (?) to walk into our elections with the same kind of force.

I and my circle of political friends and acquaintances do high dollar contributions in races where it makes sense.

All the analysts currently rate Texas-GOV as either Likely R or Safe R.

We have Governorships to protect in Kansas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin.

We have stronger pickup prospects in Georgia and Arizona.

How much you like O'Rourke or hate Abbott is irrelevant to his actual competitiveness.

18. According to the Texas Tribune Abbot started off with 62 million and Beto 6 million.

Maybe that is the reason Abbott is ahead. What would happen now if Beto got a big surge of money which caused him to have more than Abbot? That big money can flood the airways.

I've been hoping that Abbott's rule with an iron fist and his investigating the families of transgender children and youth as if they were engaged in child abuse would wake up voters in the state and prove to be the last straw.

I have no earthly idea of how any opinion surveyors are able to get valid and reliable results these days because of voice mail and caller ID, but I do like the sound of that.

Women are no longer safe here

Children are no longer safe here

Voters are no longer safe here

There are more issues but these 3 are the most important ones

And hopefully come this fall ALL Texans will be allowed to vote and have that vote counted.

Incompetence...

People are not dumb. Everyone has seen their electric bill that the Gov. and legislature failed to make utilities pay for their Snowmageddon failures and instead passed the buck to consumers.

Mean-spirited Trumpism can't hide his failures.

Look at Kansas. I always thought Texas was more of a live and let live state. But they've been as big of a race to the bottom state as all the other southern states. And yet by all accounts Texas is less Red than they were 10 years ago.
