Lets weigh the votes. Where is Manchin when it comes to passing key legislation that has the support CentralMass Apr 2022 #13
That poster made up the 73% figure for Sanders, for starters, and I deal with the rest as well here: Celerity Apr 2022 #16

Number one, Bernie is at 93%, NOT 73%, so you are starting off with misinformation. Number two Celerity Apr 2022 #15

I can’t figure that out. On a desktop, I can do it, but it’s not intuitive. They make it hard on purpose I guess. I very rarely look at DU on a desktop.

Bernie hasn't blocked Biden with any vote or non vote, but Manchin and/or Sinema have run riot over him and the Dem Party on massive, key items.

They have collectively, as of now, smashed up 90% of Biden's new spend templates for the BBB and the BIF, plus blocked all voter rights/protection bills, etc, The last one alone is going to damage the hell out of our chances for fair elections.

Protest votes that block nothing are meaningless.

Bernie is at 93% because of THREE votes where he differed with Biden, but those 3 votes blocked NOTHING

He voted against Vilsack because of some civil rights groups protesting Vilsack's racial track record in his previous stint as AG Sec (Vilsack was confirmed)

He voted against the bill that Cantwell rammed in a $10 billion giveaway to Bezos at the last minute (it passed)

and he voted for motion providing for congressional disapproval of the sale of certain weapons to Saudi Arabia (it failed)

Many Dems voted for it

It is pure sophistry to try and imply that Sanders is more of an anti Biden and anti Dem party overall force than Manchin when it comes to taking wrecking balls to huge Biden and Dem initiatives this Congress.

I don't understand the anti Sanders bias so many Democrats have, I'm glad he caucuses with us.
