R's are coming for the Civil Rights Act. They've always despised it.

Republicans: If we take power we will use the government to shutown private businesses because they promote vaccines, anti-racism, and tolerance toward the LGBTQ+ community.
****
@Acyn
Ingraham: When Republicans get back into power, Apple and Disney have to understand one thing: Everything will be on the table, your copyright/trademark protection, your special status in certain states, and even your corporate structure itself

*******

Key context to Republican laws banning any education or even acknowledgement of LGBTQ, race/racism, women’s health in public schools: about half of public school students not white, obviously about half girls, and non-negligible LGBTQ

"Burn it all down" they shouted.

But we are in a bar fight with these people.

“Build Back Better” or “Democrats Deliver” is not how you counter this shit.

John Edwards had something good with Two Americas. Shelve the economic part. The fight is about our respective visions of freedom and democracy. And patriotism.

Go at them where think they’re least vulnerable. Freedom? They’re subtracting individual rights across the board. The Constitution? January 6 anybody? Patriotism? We’re supposed to be lectured on that by the Party of Putin? People who worship a guy who would never put the country’s interests before his own.

These are the fights. Let’s get it on.

They act like mobs, send in their shock troops, pilfer property and take off like land pirates. Meanwhile, the lawyers help them get away.

Florida has been in slow disintegration since before the nineties.

It says: “Choosing where your dollars go isn’t retaliation, it’s common sense.”

Isn’t that the sentiment they label “cancel culture?” Are they being woke? Funny how it’s always okay if Republicans say it, but when Dems have a similar response to them, they clutch their pearls.

Girls won’t need to go to school because they won’t need an education to stay at home and have baby after baby. Minorities won’t need an education because they will be allowed only the menial jobs serving the white families. And LGBTQ will either be locked up or forced to go through so many conversion therapies that they commit suicide. The Guardian ran an article today about conversion therapies, and one I had never heard of—corrective rape. My brain refuses to contemplate the kind of people who advocate this! They are perverted beyond belief, yet many of they claim to be upstanding Christians. They are evil, and I detest them.

They have zero morals, scruples, or any plan for anything remotely constructive. They are hell-bent on vengeance and violence. 45 amplifies this. Quite the phenomena. Hope the FBI can deal with it, cause it's coming. Bat shit crazy has been stoked. We may actually have to install a truly "well regulated militia" instead of the gun-humpers and seditionists that currently think they qualify. Hope it doesn't come to it, but not going to let them destroy this country.
