(26,630 posts)during the war or occupation of Ukraine, will potentially be subject to arrest, interrogation, and and possible trial for war crimes if they venture outside of Russia or its "buddy" countries.
All of Russia needs to know that they will be held responsible.

(5,326 posts)The sanctions should never be lifted while Putin still holds office and until Russia is made to pay the damages inflicted to this peaceful country. Ynfou, there is no way to bring back those who were killed

I wonder what other discoveries the Ukrainians will come across as they take over their own territory. This is probably the tip of the iceberg.

(19,567 posts)Journalist from multiple outlets were there shortly after the Russian retreat and witnessed these atrocities. It's well documented and solid facts.
My heart to the poor people who suffered and died in such unnecessary terror. I cannot even imagine the fear they felt, or the fear of those who survived this savagery.
Fuck Putin and his Russian army!
Straw Man
(6,625 posts)... who claimed that all of this was lies spread by the "anti-Russian mainstream Western media." According to him, it's really Ukrainian forces killing their own people and blaming it on the Russians. For support, he supplied some blog posts from a "journalist" who is obviously nothing but a Russian troll with a camera phone, interviewing some inept crisis actors.
This person is no longer my friend. He has clearly passed into Bizarro World, where the Western media are purely propaganda organs of the state while Russian media are "free and honest."
