Why is Trump holding all these rallies?

It has to cost a lot of money for these communities to hold them in their towns? Because we know that Trump doesn’t pays his bills? One would think these communities would catch on with his antics? It has to be the best con that Trump has pulled off? Rake in thousands of dollars and never pay them back!

It's not going well. The crowds are getting smaller.

In a way, he's come full circle. He started his "pResidency" by lying about how many people attended his inauguration - now he's lying about how many people are attending his rallies.

What a pathetic loser.

people $50 a head to attend his announcement that he was running for president. I'm sure at that point, he had no idea how large the crowds would eventually get. Now those crowds are shrinking, so it does appear he HAS come full circle. It really is amazing his appeal has lasted as long as it has actually. He is terribly boring and redundant. His followers can easily just stay at home and watch reality TV that is more interesting.

It is very difficult sustaining a populist following. The messaging gets old quickly and the energy tends to wane. Eventually, people are drawn to the next shiny object.

but eventually it won't be worth all the trouble of getting there - traffic, finding a parking place, waiting hours for Trump to arrive, only to listen to the same old spiel they've heard hundreds of times. Then find your car and fight traffic to get back home, probably very tired and hungry. They could have just ordered a pizza, popped open a beer, and binge-watched Dog, The Bounty Hunter.

Trump really doesn't know or understand his base. Though their lives may be fairly limited, they honestly can find better things to do than listen to him ramble incoherently for an hour or more.

I've left events early to avoid the rush and Trump wasn't going to say anything new and interesting worth hanging around for. Eventually, it is just not going to be worth all the time and trouble. He is so full of himself, that he believes they will follow him to the ends of the earth, but even the "poorly educated" have better things to do.

Michigan Stars Sports Center is zoned for only 1,500 or 1,600 people, according to the local newspaper, The Macomb Daily. At least four times that number of people are expected to be there on Saturday.

While the venue does not have a permit for the event, Washington Township Supervisor Sebastian Previti says the rally is still cleared to continue since it's being treated as a private event.

“It’s my understanding, everything is under control,” said Michigan Stars Sports Center owner George Juncaj.

Juncaj says he has been in contact with Previti, the area fire chief, and other key leaders from the community. He says they remain confident Saturday's event will be safe.

“We're all on the same page, we're working very hard, everything's gonna be right and (Previti's) going to do everything he can to make everything being right,” he said.

As individuals we can ignore him, but this was the leading story on our local NBC news station here in Detroit this morning. Me ignoring the story isn't going to change anything one whit until the media stops reporting on him. They are much more to blame than any one person.

I've even gone so far as to contact the main newscaster once a few weeks ago when he gave a seditionist rep a platform to spew her garbage on his Sunday morning political show. He actually responded to me immediately saying I should watch the entire show to see how he "took her to task" for her not voting to certify Biden's election. I got the impression that many people were complaining about him having her on, and that he was covering his butt.

WASHINGTON, March 22 (Reuters) - Former President Donald Trump's Save America group has quickly become one of the top Republican fundraising organizations ahead of the Nov. 8 congressional elections.

But so far it has been stingy with its spending on Republican efforts to win in November compared to the expenditures of other groups, according to a Reuters analysis of financial disclosures made to the Federal Election Commission.

Trump has already drawn attention for giving only small amounts to Republican candidates, but the findings of the Reuters analysis showing the sharp contrast in spending have not been previously reported.

Since Trump founded Save America in November 2020, the group has raised $124 million -- the largest war chest ever built by an ex-president -- but spent only about $14 million, or around 11%. Much of that has gone to funding rallies and ads that ostensibly promote Republicans running for Congress but focus more on Trump himself ...

If you’re on the mailing list for Donald Trump’s political operation, you probably received a recent email about a contest. In fact, you probably received several such emails, alerting you to an exciting possibility: By making a contribution of any size, you’d become eligible to win a dinner with the former president in New Orleans.

The Republican’s leadership PAC, Save America, made the fundraising appeal sound quite enticing, telling prospective donors that Team Trump would pay for the meal, the plane ticket, and even the price of the room at a “very nice” hotel. All the former president’s supporters had to do was throw some money his way.

The Washington Post reported that someone was supposed to win this contest, but no one did ...

Florida regulators found that a company working on the charitable event had not registered properly. The former first lady’s office said it would be rescheduled.

By Eric Lipton
March 3, 2022

WASHINGTON — A Florida fund-raiser planned for April that was to feature Melania Trump has been called off after state regulators there concluded that the company working with the former first lady to organize the charitable event had not properly registered to solicit contributions.

Mrs. Trump had announced in late January plans for what she called “Tulips & Topiaries,” a gathering at an undisclosed location in Naples, Fla., that would feature an “elaborate flower garden with tulips” and “delicious hors d’oeuvres alongside tea and bubbles.” Tickets were put on sale for as much as $50,000 for a VIP table, with the money, she said, slated to provide scholarships to children emerging from foster care.

But Whip Fundraising, a consulting firm that helped organize the event, only registered as required by the state in recent days, after Florida officials began investigating the matter. Florida requires certain organizations that ask for charitable donations among Florida residents to first file with the state and then report how the money will be spent ...

Former President Donald Trump's Save America political action committee sent a fundraising email about a new "Trump Force One" airplane after a private jet he was traveling in was forced to make an emergency landing this weekend.

The email sent on Wednesday titled "Update: Trump Force One" touted the reveal of a new Trump plane.

Thousands gather in Keizer for Reawaken America rally, protests
Whitney Woodworth Salem Statesman Journal

Thousands of people filled standing-room-only tents at the Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer Friday and Saturday to hear from election and COVID-19 conspiracy theorists, Christian leaders and prominent figures pardoned by former President Donald Trump.

The sold-out Reawaken America Tour rally drew about 4,000 attendees. Among the top-billed speakers were Trump's son Eric Trump and former national security advisor Michael Flynn. Flynn pleaded guilty to a felony for making false statements to the FBI about an investigation into communications with Russia. Trump later pardoned him.

About 50 counterprotesters held a peaceful demonstration outside Friday and Saturday, many focused on support of Native American communities.

Saturday morning, cars lined the streets to get into the event. The rally will continue until 5 p.m. Saturday.
