Senate Judiciary Committee has just tied 11-11 on nomination of Judge Brown Jackson

The Senate Judiciary Committee has just tied 11-11 on the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Democrats will use a procedural move to proceed and her confirmation is expected by the end of the week.

She'll be Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson by the end of the week. (Or whatever the right title is until Justice Breyer officially retires.)

I thought, as the majority party, Democrats would have more seats on all the committees including this one.
