My current book read- Zero Fail, by Carol Leonning- The Rise and Fall of the Secret Service

Last edited Thu Apr 7, 2022, 02:46 PM - Edit history (1)

The author has been covering the Secret Service for the Washington Post for close to a decade. She begins with the history of the Secret Service after the Lincoln Asassination; then covers the years from Kennedy up to th January 6 riots. I'm just starting to read it, so I can't give a comprehensive review.

My one remaining eye needs the larger print I can get with my Kindle, so I get it from Amazon. Check out the reviews if you're interested.

That's what led me to this book. Some Twitter threads about the current troubles pointed me to it. NBachers Apr 2022 #2
