The Secret Service mess.
Seth Abramson is taking that to a whole new level.
Seth, by the way, was asked to speak to the J6 committee about details of his comprehensive investigative reporting and has done so.
His focus on his blog tonight is about Agent Ornato. One paragraph here:
While I wont get into the content of any exchange that followed, I can say here what I have said before (indeed, even before I had spoken to the Committee): members of the Committee and their staff read Proof; Proof was the first major media outlet to focus in detail (see links above) on how Trump used the former head of his Secret Service detail, Anthony Ornato, as a political agent situated within the Secret Service, and indeed did so on January 6 and in the days leading up to January 6; and the House January 6 Committee has now sought to interview Mr. Ornato. What you can take from this is that the Committee is certainly not unaware of the role Ornato played in the events described above, and is at least willing enough to investigate these events that it has located their author and is going to question him extensively. That we are now learning that the Committee may want to speak to Trump just days after it spoke to Ornato (see this New York Times report) is incredibly telling, and unlikely to be any sort of coincidence.

(13,570 posts)Major was in the WH and had to be sent to live elsewhere because he was shall we say "uncomfortable" and bit a couple of people. Not the dog's fault -- he's a GS and the WH is a busy, busy place.

(6,278 posts)So this would explain the dog being so protective and worried? He did not go with Trump? But stayed on?
I thought that President Biden had requested different Secret Service agents
.

(13,570 posts)...but there is a larger mess going on with SS. We can't assume that people with bad vibes haven't been in the larger SS detail in the WH.

(13,496 posts)I don't think this had anything to do with Major.
That doesn't mean it shouldn't be investigated.
