Things to ponder: Why Ukrainian refugees have to go thru Mexico

Thinking further, why are Eastern European refugees ( disclaimer.. my grandparents were from Ukraine and Poland) any better than anyone else??

3. According to Google they can get a tourist Visa to Mexico

and come into the US as tourists. I would guess this is the easiest and faster way.

4. A tourist visa for Mexico doesn't get a person into the U.S.

As I understand it, the visas are being used to get into Mexico and then to the U.S. border where asylum is requested.

I saw a 10-year-old Polish boy, being asked by US media if they hated it that their classrooms were cramped and doubled in student size, due to Ukrainian immigrant students. Loved that they were surprised at the question and just said "absolutely not" .

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said Wednesday his state is taking "unprecedented actions" to address an anticipated surge of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border, including sending charter buses of migrants to Washington, D.C.

Today, he's sort of walking it back and says the bus trip is for volunteers only
