I'm pretty sure people of this stripe have never had a legitimate 'policy' position in their lives - (outside of 'owning the libs' of course). Setting aside all the late in life praise that John McCain won - he really got played (and badly) with Sarah Palin. I'm sure his shade is still rosy red with embarrassment.
