The challenge filed last month against Greene alleges that she helped facilitate the January 6, riot in 2021 that disrupted Joe Bidens presential election victory.
Greene filed a lawsuit Friday asking a judge to declare the law unconstitutional and prohibit state officials from enforcing it.

(63,221 posts)Exactly. They are both so incredibly stupid and arrogantly confident in their stupidity. It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous and there weren't so many people being inspired by them.

(21,568 posts)I hate to say it but if it just private citizens suing her under the 14th, it is going to get tossed for lack of standing. Same reason why the emoluments cases against drumpf got tossed. Shes going to have to be criminally charged and convicted of insurrection to be disqualified.

(46,709 posts)There has to be a minimal requirement for being a political candidate in the US. And it just seems to me, that supporting an insurrection in the Capitol should be a deal breaker. Otherwise, the oath they take means nothing.
