One sure way to sidestep the overreaches of conservative rule in our states:

Think about what they're doing: Excluding the history of those that don't fit into the White, conservative culture. In other words, they are not preparing their children for higher education. So, we need the Ivy Leagues to pitch in. They should take note of the places where their student candidates are coming from and don't feed this overtake of America. Chose Diversity.

One thing I do know, is that parents who are well off want to ensure that their children make it into those Ivy League schools, and they will get the message.

but it seems unlikely this would make any difference to anything.

These are mostly rich white folks, sending kids to schools in the librul northeast.

How would it matter to the ignorant yokels who run Alabama, what percentage of Alabaman applicants get into a pricy private school?

Also, these schools are part of the problem; they are not motivated to change anything. Look how many powerful assholes have fancy Ivy League degrees. Huge numbers of them.

help to reduce the influence their candidates have on the rest of us.

Let's just start by exposing the "fact" that they thrive on white supremacy.

you, Greenwich and New Canaan) is the importance they give to the private, "prep" schools. THAT's where they get in the groove of the very rich. The prep schools' mission is getting the kids in shape for admissions to the Ivies, altho the Ivies have democratized their admissions process over the years.
