It looks like day before the Russians hit the train station in Kramatorsk they bombed the road ....

... out of town so if you wanted to escape the town and go west you had to take the train. Hence the
rail station might have had even more people there when they hit it with a missile attack. They hit
women, children, and seniors trying to flee the war they caused. Putin and company were trying to cause
even more death and bloodshed.

Kill 'em all and that starts with Putin. If you are a Russian fighter in Ukraine and you don't surrender then
you should be dead. BTW I don't see the Ukrainians being "nice" to any Russian POWs.

BTW a little help please from my smart DU friends how do you pronounce Kramatorsk?

Lightly touch behind your upper teeth. The “a” should sound like in “grandmother”.

I think. But I’ve only been learning Ukrainian for a couple of weeks.

But it looks more and more like Ukraine is responding in much the same way London did in 1940, with the attacks are having the opposite effect than Moscow intended.

What can be done to drive home the horrific truth of this war to the average Russian who thinks this is “fake news”?

My god, where are we headed as a civilization if people sincerely doubt the evidence they have right before their very eyes?

If anything, this should confirm to anyone who still has a half-functioning brain cell left that the “fake news” trope is just as dangerous as any ballistic missile, and can be used here to justify any atrocity just as easily as it’s being used there.

See: Fox News, Putin, Trump, the GOP….

Thumb drives, dvd, the internet, printed material, tv and radio broadcasts, ipads, laptops,
cell phones, and word of mouth. Putin can't stop it all.

Even the folks with the money, influence and podium can't seem to find the answer. It's very frustrating and frightening.
