As it is, I keep my gas receipts for a period before I decide to shred them.
And since I'm working from home, I only "gas up" about once every 3-4 weeks.
Here are gas per gallon prices for regular at the gas station I usually frequent
Date - Price per Gallon - Delta from previous
9/13/21 - 3.959 -
10/2/21 - 3.999 + 4¢
12/2/21 - 4.259 + 26¢ Maybe missing a receipt for November here.
12/27/21 - 4.19 - 6¢
1/23/22 - 4.259 + 6¢
2/13/22 - 4.389 + 13¢
3/10/22 - 5.349 + 96¢
4/3/22 - 5.299 - 5¢

(42,703 posts)While there were a few outliers, most of the stations were down to $4.10 or lower. Even saw a $3.99 price.

(35,338 posts)Wytheville for a fill up, it was 30 to 40 cents less than here in Ohio or WV. Recently though the price is about the same as Ohio or WV.
