WHYYFetterman, Pennsylvanias lieutenant governor, has been on the defensive, after a week of attacks by Lamb and a third candidate, Malcolm Kenyatta, as well as a super PAC supporting Lamb that is running a TV ad statewide accusing Fetterman of being extreme.
Neither Lamb nor Kenyatta made any reference to Fetterman in their remarks to a crowd of about 200 Penn State-area Democrats in a hotel ballroom just outside State College. But Fetterman did, telling the crowd that he would only run a positive campaign.
My commitment to you is that if youve entrusted any of your resources to our campaign, not one dollar of that will ever be weaponized against a fellow Democrat, Fetterman told the crowd.

(68,582 posts)tell you I don't get it either. I believe Big John brings home a Senate seat in PA. And he will be a vote we can count on for BBB, ending the filibuster, civil rights, and many other things that I really want to see happen .

(21,349 posts)The reason he runs negative campaigns is he can't talk about his record.
Kenyata is in the race to funnel Philly votes away from Fetterman, when he loses the primary he's going back to run for his Congressional seat.

Will it help him in Republican districts? I think so.
