Cherrypicking quotes and taking them literally as some kind of cynical political manifesto that everyone's corrupt and everything's hopeless is, to me, disrespectful of his work and using him to target populist audiences. Nobody ever quotes him mocking "save the planet" and "save the endangered species" environmentalists or all his jokes about political correctness or "I Really Like It When a Lot of People Die."
