For the record, grade school teachers are not grooming anyone. They're just trying to do their job while being underpaid and under supplied. Mamet on the other hand has issues on a lot of fronts. I'd keep my kids away from him.

between gender education and sexual grooming of innocent children by pedophilic schoolteachers. Scraps of truth make foundations for great lies, and we do know that elementary education would attract sexual predators if it wasn't such a dangerous and unlikely place to get away with it.

Repeat a lie often enough..., or just a lying connection between good and bad.

Teachers, pedophiles. Democrats, "corporatists." Etc.

As said, these victims are especially inclined to have a dark view of human nature, which toxic manipulators are feeding, and feeding, and feeding.

These days, any public figure who tries to amplify people's fears to get elected or stimulate donations is adding to something already grown very dangerous and out of control.

Build. Better. Yes, we can. That's us.

Between The Untouchables and The Verdict to Oleanna and Glengarry, I've been a fan of his almost free-form style of writing since the mid-90s (Mamet-speak as per the hipsters).

Such a shame to see talent like his wrapped up in such a miserable human.

Why stop at teachers? How about coaches, councilors, doctors, dentists, priests, ministers...any job where a male contacts children.
Not to mention uncles, brothers, cousins, next door neighbors.

Sure, there are men who fit what he describes, but his idiotic, gross generalization is just a way to "groom" kids to his way of thinking.
Demonizing teachers is just another form of grooming and indoctrination.

It's also a way of getting rid of any teacher who wants to teach kids to think.
When I went to my Catholic grade school, we had to memorize whole sections of the catechism they handed out to us. I experienced it again while attending a Catholic high school.
I'm sure this guy wouldn't object to religious indoctrination; a not to subtle form of grooming.
After all, it's not the indoctrination he is actually objecting to, it's just that it's not his idea of what to "groom" the children to believe.

What an asshole!
Thought I'd add this for effect:

On to Mamet’s much-documented swing to conservatism, from his stand against the NFL’s kneeling-during-the-anthem protests to his support for Donald Trump. It seems so far away from the leftist leanings of his youth, the critiques of capitalism clearly visible in American Buffalo and Glengarry Glen Ross. “I was never, ever a communist,” he says. “All you need to know about communism is that Marx was a sponger. He lived off Engels’ family who had a furniture factory.”

Mamet became a vocal Trump supporter during his presidency, which can’t have been easy in the Democratic stronghold of California. “Well, he did a great job as a president.” Really? “Well, if you put everything you see on these little screens aside and look at what happened during the Trump presidency. We told China to knock it off. We told Nato to start paying their fair share. We moved the Embassy of the United States to Jerusalem in Israel . . . Gas prices were down. There was the lowest black unemployment in history …”

There was also Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was rigged. Does Mamet believe America’s democratic process to be flawed too? “It’s an interesting question. I grew up in Chicago, which was run as a mob’s fiefdom by Mayor Richard J Daley. So all elections were rigged. The idea that people are not going to steal elections is ignorance because people steal elections all the time. The question is: ‘What was the extent of the election rigging?’ I don’t know. But was it questionable? Yes.”
