General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsSomeone here must know how to get the attention of the big media companies. We need to tell them
to report on Greg Abbott's stunt and Biden's accomplishments and other thing that are supportive to our causes. We can't let the damn GQP control the narrative.
I do not know the best way to get ahold of these people but I'm sure someone here knows. For now here are some emails and phone numbers.
Here is an email for CNN.

Fox has a phone number I haven't tried. CNN's phone number is a joke.
Call Fox News at 1-888-369-4762. Whereas some networks mostly encourage online submission of comments, Fox News does provide viewers with a 1-800 customer service number. You can use this phone number if you have a general inquiry, comment, suggestion, or concern.[3]

(38,958 posts)and leave it at that. You are not going to change the narrative of Cable and Broadcast Noise. There is simply too much money involved.

(17,636 posts)other than their sponsors, care about. The media will not cross swords with big money, it would be a death sentence. The report what they are told to report and ignore the rest.

(21,402 posts)Cable news pushes the right wing narratives, even if certain anchors speak out against the narrative.
I can give plenty of examples, here's just one.
Maybe the greatest accomplishment of president Biden has been keeping NATO and our allies united against Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He has done a fantastic job, the EU is even considering banning Russian oil and gas, something unheard of.
What we hear instead is that president Biden didn't act quickly enough, he should have sent arms to Ukraine sooner. The reason that NATO didn't send more weapons sooner was because everyone expected Russia to take control of Kyiv in 3 days so why send arms that will be confiscated by Russia? They push the narrative that we need to enforce a no fly zone, or in other words, start WW III.
Putin was waiting for a 2nd term president Trump to pull the US out of NATO and he would have a cakewalk into Ukraine.
Because of president Biden's leadership strengthening NATO, Finland and Sweeden are considering joining, to Putin's horror.
I have said this too many times, I only watch Nicolle, Chris, and Rachel, they get it.
Oh and for those who believe that cable news is about making money, Keith Olbermann would have made MSNBC a lot of money but he was rejected because he also gets it, he is a person who can change the narrative.
