Why the Republians don't want Debates

At this point, there is nothing they can debate on.
They have demolished their stand on defense. They can't stand on defending democracy. They can't stand on anything.
On the closing of borders, if we get nasty, we can talk 911. We can bring up Trump's walls and they have nothing. If we stay mild, we can talk Abbot. They have nothing they can say that can't immediately be slammed as a lie.
The list goes on.
They for sure can't say the liberals are going to give control to Russia. That ship has sailed off, caught on fire, and sunk.
Their support for treason has shot down all of their standard arguments of the past.
If they were foolish enough to say CRT, anyone prepped to talk would be able to publicly humiliate the Republican who just tried to do a dog whistle and exposed just how anti free speech, cancel culture, and racist their base was.

Their only consistencies are taking rights from women and giving money to the fabulously rich. If they were foolish enough to use their craven, insane, blood libel talk about pedophiles and rapists, it would be easy to point to the slew of republicans who represent and protect that faction of the populace.

They don't want a debate because they can't win one.
They can't even survive one.
