New York AG says she won't be bullied by Trump

New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) on Monday shot back at former President Trump after he took a swipe at her the previous day, saying she would not be “bullied or intimidated.”

Trump sent out a message through his Save America PAC that said, “Happy Easter to failed gubernatorial candidate and racist Attorney General Letitia James.”

(Snip)

In a Monday statement, James’s office said Trump was “entitled to defend himself in court.”

“However, this attorney general will not be bullied or intimidated by the former president,” the statement continued. “The courts have ruled time and time again that the office’s investigation into Mr. Trump and his financial dealings is legitimate and lawful, and Attorney General James will continue to follow the facts and the law wherever they may lead. Nothing will dissuade her from pursuing justice.”

just be ignored. If he was a former POTUS or a high profile person he would have already been charged. If nothing happens then it is just more proof that our justice system is only for the "little guy".

How damn sorry do you have to be these days to face the accountability that us common folks face on a daily basis.

There were two others, Cuomo and I forget the other one. Both their lives/ careers were pretty much destroyed. If they had not been vocal in the news about their criticism of tfg, I bet you they’d still be working at their jobs.
Tfg’s reach is long and wide.

things go down.

Let me ask you something. Did you watch Cuomo’s daily televised talks which began at the start of the pandemic? Back in the day when there were no masks yet, when there were no vaccines, when there were storage containers holding bodies dead from Covid since the morgues were full, parked around the streets of NYC, when there was a makeshift hospital in Central Park because the hospitals were full. Cuomo, was on the news every single day for I don’t know how many months, starting at the beginning of the pandemic, and was extremely vocal in his bold accusations of trumps failings and handling of the pandemic. Not one person in this country was so outspoken of trumps failures. Except Michael Avenatti who came under the spotlight because of his client Stormy Daniels and her association with trump.

If you don’t know what happened to them and their careers you can look it up.

Your questioning makes no sense to me.
You are familiar with vengeance, no?
Would my theory only make sense to you if Cuomo lost his job immediately after calling out trump and Jared?
Some people hold grudges and retaliate, get payback, generations after the event.
Some people have long reaches in society.
Do you think trump got away with all his shit for years all by himself?

I find it suspicious that these two men, one of whom definitely committed some crimes, but look at all the criminal behavior that never goes punished, both lost their careers, one of them convicted. And these two men we’re also the two most vocal people criticizing trump. It’s when political figures take center stage in the spotlight that they become targets, and these two were holding under the brightest light.

Besides vengeance, these two men also were threats to trump.

Keep filing for extensions and delays. ESPECIALLY delays. And that way, you can string out your opponent long enough that he/she runs out of money and either drops it and goes away, or settles for a pittance of what they were suing for in damages. Pretty devious. But it worked. And it’s worked for a long time.

One of many reasons why having lots of money (or being PRESUMED TO HAVE lots of money) built kind a f an invisible fortress around him. It worked as another form of intimidation (“do you know how deep his pockets are? He can drag this thing out til you’re facing bankruptcy.” You better take what you can get while you still can…”).

And he fucked with people’s imaginations, giving the impression that he was somehow supreme, invincible, unreachable, unassailable, etc. if you THINK it’s true, then it very well IS - at least in your perception. With this bastard, PERCEPTION is EVERYTHING. It explains why he can be vague about his net worth - which lends the IMPRESSION that he’s so damn rich even HE can’t keep track of how much money he has. And why he can tell one person he’s worth this much and then tell somebody else he’s worth that much and nobody really bothers to check because all they need to know is that he’s got shitloads of bucks - MORE shitloads than you can even imagine, and exact numbers don’t mean much because all YOU need to know is that it’s a lot.

It’s a perception management game he’s played successfully ALL HIS DAMN LIFE. And it’s all designed to benefit himself and screw everybody else.
