(90,692 posts)Something about being able to access it in a split second. The person was trying to read Putins body language, and said in his opinion Putin had carried a gun for so many years that he couldnt walk any other way.
Not my area of expertise, but it stuck with me because it was interesting.

(118,661 posts)assassinations for Putin this year as he is vulnerable to not being in power. And who of them wants to be not protected for crimes they commit on someone else's behalf? That doesn't help the Ukrainians but hopefully it means Putin is more cautious too.

(43,049 posts)him from a distance. BUT...
He is clearly not well, and we cannot trust the man who has absolute power and a finger on the nuclear button.
When you see the face of death clearly, it can easily become the norm.

(38,000 posts)1. Why would they film him like that? Is that supposed to be his good side? Somebody on the twitters brought this up and I have this same question. Did people tell him not to do it and/or did he override their advice? Are all the media production people in prison?
2. For a man who (lol) just had a "massive heart attack" Sergei Shoigu looks a hell of a lot healthier than his boss.

(44,973 posts)Clearly Shoigu didn't have a massive heart attack.

(70,235 posts)There does seem to be something odd going on with his right side. But I am no Doctor. Time will tell
The right hand, the one gripping the table the whole time, is the one he can't control. See this video also:

The fact that they have released this video regardless could mean two things. Either it's the best footage of Putin they have (others is even worse), or someone wants the world to see him in that condition (and Putin cannot control it anymore). Both would be nice.

(2,367 posts)He doesn't look at all comfortable sitting there. His posture doesn't look natural...almost like he's strapped to the chair. He is constantly moving his feet in a very odd way. At one point he puts his arm on the desk behind the table for a minute and then looks at it first before he moves it off. Something ain't right with old Vladdy.
