The whole "our kids will be damaged or made to feel guilty" with CRT, is just an excuse! They know that CRT could create empathy from white students towards black people. That would then create more Democratic voters! That's the quiet part they can't say out loud so they need to come up with some explanation as to why they don't want the non-existent school-taught CRT to ever be taught in schools!

This whole CRT hysteria is all about not wanting white kids to understand our racist history. Because, like you said, if they did they would empathize much more with people of color. And we can't have that now can we? How can White society "other" and demonize people of a different race if you understand all the trials and tribulations they went through? So the Right lies and says CRT is all about "hating whitey" and making white kids "feel bad about themselves." That's pure BS! Unfortunately, too many white parents fall for this nonsense. And the weirdest part is, CRT is not being taught in public high schools.
