Who is Mike Pence, to hold the nation hostage, to the truth about January 6th, 2021?

What status gives him the right to keep the truth from the American people? Do we not have the right to know what he knows about that tragic day?

A true American would volunteer to give the people the information they deserve to know. He is not privileged to withhold information from the people's Representatives.

If he cannot voluntarily come in and speak about what he knows, then he should be subpoenaed. He has played his game long enough. He is not deserving to run for President of this country. He does not have the character nor the courage to do the job that needs to be done. That is now obvious.

If he refuses a subpoena for information, then the J6 Committee should send a referral to the DOJ, asking for a criminal investigation into the event of January 6th.

The people deserve to know the truth.

Mark Meadows knows more, IMO.

I agree that DOJ should have investigated these people by now, 16 months into an ongoing insurrection.

The select committee fought tooth and nail to get John Eastman to turn over a couple hundred emails, he is holding back 36,000 emails and claiming executive privilege, DOJ could get those emails if it tried.

You used this yesterday and declined to address my response to it... Lets recap, you said:

"Just imagine how much easier that could have been had DOJ been the one requesting those emails."

And I replied:

"The DOJ would face the same fight. Also, once the case is settled, both can use the emails so no point in bringing the case twice."

Plus he pretends to be a Christian. Truth should be front and center as part of that Christianity he pretends to follow. He’s lived the past 5 years in lies of omission. We need the truth from everyone.

The magats wanted him dead on 1/6 and still want him dead today. I really don't know why... It appears he may think he has some kind of chance to become President, but he must know that ship sailed when he refused to continue betraying his country on 1/6.

As Jack Nicholson might put it, Wall Street can't handle the truth.

They mishandle it.

they are spending more time trying to figure out how to avoid approaching certain people involved in the Jan. 6 insurrection. Instead of treating these traitorous un-American bastards with kid gloves, they should be increasing the pressure and making them sweat rivers.

their numbers dwindling due to the DOJ's ongoing example of inaction(ineptitude?) and preference for "politics as usual". Most people don't think the tooth fairy or Santa Claus are real either. So, there's that commonality, at least. One day they might gel or bloom into a majority of citizens who refuse to allow the "legally" elected or appointed criminals to just keep going along, doing nothing about fixing that which is, at once, detrimental to the republic and quite undeniably clear before their very eyes. Maybe someday, if they can, they'll even cast ballots based on a candidate's history of alignment with the truth. That'll be a tough one if they continue to remain dis/mis-informed and confused by the for-profit media. Why kid ourselves? If the media is in it for wealth and power, elected officials are as well.

Predictably, the public trust is gone, possibly as many as two generations away from restoration. It could, perhaps, be accelerated if there were some consensus around the value of facts over fantasy. But we're in a world where there's not even consensus about what happened on 1/6/2021, even with all the live coverage. That warpage of the time-space continuum is possible only because the reckoning has been up in the air too long. Some powerful, and possibly misguided, people are playing it with the timing of mid-term elections. I'm afraid that gambit will backfire and, aside from my family, there's very little I'm more concerned about than that.
