For Hispanic voters trending to Retrumplicans

At least that's what the MSM keeps "breathlessly" reporting about.

I wonder if there are any voters trending away from Retrumplicans, but, I digress.

Anyway, the reports are that Hispanic voters are running to Retrumplicans because "sosh-lism" or some such shit.

Anyway, just a couple questions.

Was is Castro, or Democrats that banned books and controlled what Cuban children were taught?

Was is Chavez, or Democrats that attacked private businesses to get them to bend to his political whims?

Who in America is using the power of the state to control political thought?

If there is concern about the state using it's power to control what is taught, what political beliefs private businesses can, or can't be punished by the state for, or controlling every aspect of it's citizens lives, then you can't witness what the Retrumplicans are doing and still support them.

Seems to me that it is clear who the authoritarians are.

But, I guess if part of what the authoritarians are offering, is the authority to hate who you want to hate, that kind of "sosh-lism" is acceptable.

Just a thought though.

Disney, school teachers and others were fine to support Retrumplicans...until they weren't.

Funny how that works.

Don't worry. We'll all be fine as long as we toe the line

Gee, that's almost sounds like Cuba, Venezuela, or Russia.

Hispanics, like other loose groups, aren't monolithic. Not sure, but sounds like it's the Exiles from Cuba/Venezuela being addressed, who are more likely to be Rethugs.

The Latino/Mexican Americans are more Dem, but as BEGALA says about Texas, "It's not a Red state, it's a non-voting state." And the ones in that category who *do* vote Rethug are more influenced by Catholic anti-Choice, and by "conservative 'family' values", and by their being small-business owners hostile to "welfare and cheats". Plus the other CHAVEZ (Cesar) of the farmworkers union are strongly anti-immigrant, so might vote Rethug. But the problem in this group at large is NOT voting at all.

Plus in any group there's usually a self-hating segment, in this case the ones who "aspire" (a wingnut code word) to be more 'murican than anybody, "Assimilation" being a 1950s(?) concept. And these conflate being "American" patriots with Rethuggery.

is a pit of RW BS. It let us down on NOT reporting the catastrophe d.trump was as POTUS. Disparaging President Biden who has had to clean up the filthy putrid sewer that d.trump created in his 4 years. Sometimes the RW ownership of the MSM(free press) in this country is plain to see as the nose on my face. I can't stop the stink from the sewer cleanup left for President Biden. GOTV. Slam Republican efforts to suppress the vote in November and 24 by coming out in the many millions.
