Now the question is: what evidence is there that she did?

(54,770 posts)you don't like the people doing it.
There were protests after trump won in 2016 too. In fact, 7 Democrat senators tried to persuade then VP Biden to not count electoral votes. There was no storming the Capitol, though.

"Vice President Joe Biden presided over a joint session of Congress Friday [1/6/2017], where members officially tallied electoral votes from the 2016 presidential election. President-elect Donald Trumps 304 electoral votes werent counted without incident, however. During the course of the certification, House Democrats tried to object to electoral votes from multiples states, with Biden gaveling them down for failure to follow the rules."

(54,770 posts)evidence that Greene ushered insurrectionists in through the back door, there is no proof that will hold up in court or in this hearing.

(94,585 posts)Did someone tell the protestors to disrupt the certification process?
Answer: no.
Members of the Proud Boys have agreed to confess to planning a break-in. They have NOT claimed that someone in the Administration or the GOP told them to.
Grasswire2
(13,571 posts)We don't know if anyone in the administration or GOP told protesters to break into the Capitol or disrupt the certification process.
You can't say "no" unless you were personal witness to everything, everywhere.

(54,770 posts)have something where she was involved in encouraging storming the Capitol -- like, "go to this door and I'll have one of my friends let you in" or "We built a ricity old gallows where we are going to hang Pence if you stupid rubes will kidnap him and drag him out" -- we've got her.

(28,476 posts)"These Republicans refuse to allow out election to be stolen an I will continue that fight in Washington D.C., on January 6th when I join my colleague Rep. Mo Brooks to reject fraudulent electoral votes..."
Emphasis is mine. For you to defend her statement in the OP as free speech while ignoring the fact that it's an outright lie is disingenuous. Today she said she didn't have knowledge of any attempt to stop the election from being certified, but back in December she posted that she planned to reject the certification.

(54,770 posts)Capitol Police, shoot them if necessary, and stop Pence. Bring your gunz, spears, etc." we'd have her. Unfortunately, all she is doing playing to her constituents.
More evidence she is a POS. But not criminal.

(54,770 posts)That's the only evidence that exists.
It definitely convinces me that she -- like trump -- is unfit to hold office. However, it's not enough evidence to convict her of anything or remove her from the ballot.

(11,738 posts)There is a major difference between being a disgusting scummy person, and being a criminal. That major difference is clear evidence that a CRIME was committed.
Cheering on sedition, defending it, and calling the insurrectionists "heroes" is scummy, but not a crime. As said in other posts, if there is proof that she let them in the building, gave them blueprints for the Capitol, or provided any other material support, then guilty and disqualified. Otherwise she is just a disgusting member of this disgusting iteration of the Republican Party.
