This was invadable that there would be an accident eventually.
A Texas National Guard soldier drowned while trying to rescue migrants in a river on the states border with Mexico, multiple sources told Fox News on Friday.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) confirmed the incident at Eagle Pass and said a body had been found.

(70,700 posts)Or does ABBUTT consider him disqualified because of trying to rescue instead of drowning the immigrants?
What about compensation for the deceased's family? Along the lines of how ABBUTT, when a college student jogging got a rotted tree fall on him, paralyzing him, for which he got some $15M (?) by suing the landscape company and property owner? And when he became active politically, one of his earliest projects was to get a CAP of $250G put on suits by others like his - like how, ever since he has focused on shutting down any safety net things, like federal Medicaid funds, for disadvantaged people.

(2,521 posts)as for his compensation package I assume that was documented when he started working for the guard.
I have to ask, who cares whether abbutt goes to his funeral or not?

(70,700 posts)The Guard was put at the border because of ABBUTT. And ABBUTT is *cruel,* shown by all his initiatives that denigrate the least advantaged, and the soldier was acting humanely, which is contrary to anything ABBUTT stands for.
I shouldn't have butted into your thread.
