Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) promised that the upcoming House hearings for the Jan. 6 select committee would provide dramatic revelations from their investigation of Donald Trump's role in the insurrection.

The Maryland Democrat spoke Thursday at an event hosted by Georgetown University's Center on Faith and Justice in Washington, and he said the committee would hold public hearings in June and planned to produce a report of their investigation by the end of summer or early fall, reported NBC News.

"The hearings will tell a story that will really blow the roof off the House," said Raskin, who serves on the select committee.

a quiet little sit-down with the committee..he's saying Trump had no problem with his VP swinging from the gallows..if Pence wasn't man enough to do Trump's bidding then fuck him...but then again a dead Pence would have been something of a double win for Trump...if Pence certifies the election, he hangs..if Pence hangs then Trump can declare martial law and stop the certification...

Did Pence's fear have anything to do with those fake Homeland Security agents, Arian Taherzadeh and Haider Sher-Ali, who were recently arrested for infiltrating the Secret Service's White House detail and trying to bribe them?

From the article:

"Raskin suspects the vice president's Secret Service agents were reporting to Trump's agents, and the plan was to take Pence away from the Capitol to corrupt the certification process as part of the insurrection.

"[Pence then] uttered what I think are the six most chilling words of this entire thing I've seen so far: 'I'm not getting in that car,'" Raskin said. "He knew exactly what this inside coup they had planned for was going to do." "

From that quote it can either be read as Pence knew he was in physical danger, OR he knew that if he allowed himself to be driven away, the motherfuckers were going to overturn the election.

It can be read either way. But either way, it's still damning.

But he was sharp enough that day. Being in close orbit to trump as often as he was, he probably had his suspicions by that day. After all, Pence wasn’t the outsider like the donald was. He’d gained prominence by working within the system rather than trying to turn it upside down and set it on fire as the donald was hellbent on doing.
